Tower of God

Tower of God is a Roblox obby game developed by solo creator DylTheDeveloperX, released in August 2020 and inspired by the tower obby genre popularized by Tower of Hell and Tower of Misery. Players must complete obstacle course sections within a six-minute time limit to earn Coins, with a speed bonus system that pays out more Coins the faster you finish - making it as much about efficient play as raw skill. The game has accumulated 335M+ visits since launch.

The core loop places you in a themed World containing multiple obby floors, each with distinct layouts and obstacles. Completing a floor before the timer runs out earns Coins scaled to your remaining time. Failing to complete a floor within six minutes results in disqualification. Coins are spent in the in-game shop on Skins, Mutators (gameplay modifiers), Trails, and other cosmetic items. A VIP Skip command is available to gamepass holders who want to bypass particularly difficult stages.

Multiple worlds have been added through updates, each with unique obstacle aesthetics and challenges. Seasonal events like Easter and Halloween have introduced limited-time obbies and exclusive reward items. A newer EXP system lets players convert progress into experience points, suggesting a level progression layer on top of the Coin-based shop.
