Train Eater 2023

Train Eater 2023 is a horror survival game on Roblox set in a subway system haunted by a shapeshifting creature that disguises itself as a normal train. Players navigate Central Station and its tunnels trying to identify and avoid the Train Eater - a creature that blends into the transit environment until it's too late. Developed by a small team and currently at version 1.26, the game has surpassed 1 million plays.

The horror premise is built around one central tension: the Train Eater looks like a regular subway train. Players board or approach trains without knowing whether they're safe or walking into the creature's trap. The Become Train Eater event mode flips the dynamic, letting a player control the creature and hunt others - adding a social horror dimension similar to asymmetric games.

Hidden collectibles are scattered throughout Central Station as a secondary challenge - presents are placed around the map for players to find, adding exploration incentive alongside the core survival experience.
