How to redeem codes

Tap the Scroll icon in the game's UI to open the code menu. Note that the code redemption system is not available immediately - you must play for a short time before it unlocks. Once unlocked, click the Codes button, type your code into the text box, and press Redeem. Codes are case-sensitive.

Codes almost exclusively reward Enhancement Locks (typically 2-6 per code), which pin a chosen enchantment stat in place during a reroll. This is the most practically valuable reward in the game, since the Enchantment system is where late-game optimization happens. Occasional codes also give Enhancement Rerolls for re-randomizing enchantment stats.

New codes release frequently - Roll drops them with nearly every update, milestone, and event. The game has had a very high code velocity since its December 2025 launch, with codes often referencing the chapter or event they accompany. Compensation codes also appear when technical issues occur. The primary source for new codes is the official Discord server, where Roll announces them first. Codes tend to expire quickly given the rapid release pace, so redeem them as soon as possible.

How do I redeem codes in Waste Time?

Why isn't my Waste Time code working?

The code may have expired, been typed with incorrect capitalization, or already been redeemed on your account. Waste Time codes are case-sensitive and generally lowercase. If you just started the game, the code system may not have unlocked yet - play for a few minutes first.

What do Waste Time codes give you?
