Be Fish

Be Fish is an aquatic incremental simulator by Goofy Vegetables where players control a fish, grow by eating food pellets and smaller players, fill a Loot Bar to collect new fish species, and build a complete Fishdex collection. Created in December 2024, it accumulated 84 million visits within months and carries a 96.9% approval rating across 580,000 votes - among the highest for any Roblox simulator. Servers hold 16 players, making competition meaningful in every session.

The core loop is deceptively deep: every fish has a Growth Multiplier determining how much size it gains per food item eaten, and an XP Multiplier controlling how quickly the Loot Bar fills. When the Loot Bar fills completely, players receive a random fish or Treasure. Fish have five Tiers - Normal, Gold, Rainbow, Glowing, and Shadow - each requiring 50 merged copies of the previous tier to advance. Key systems include:

• 🏆 Fishdex - tracks every collected fish species and tier; every 10 entries grants +50% luck, +15% growth, and 1,200 Gems
• 💎 Fish rarities - Common through Legendary, with rarer fish providing better stats and Loot Efficiency
• 💎 Shadow tier - the highest possible fish tier, requiring a full merge chain from Normal through all intermediate tiers
• 💰 Treasures - rare Loot Bar rewards with a 4-hour offline open timer; can be instantly opened using Gems
• 💰 Consumable boosts - Growth Boost, Speed Boost, Luck Boost, Super Luck Boost, XP Boost, and Super XP Boost purchasable with Gems

Gems are earned through Fishdex milestones (1,200 per 10 entries) and can also be obtained via Robux. Completing the Fishdex is the endgame goal, and the milestone bonuses compound significantly as the collection grows. Five gamepasses provide permanent progression multipliers: Double Growth (649 R$), Food Magnet (499 R$), Double Loot (449 R$), Fast XP (299 R$), and Lucky (99 R$).
