About Plague
Plague is an intense zombie infection survival game on Roblox in Early Alpha, developed by the Plague Game group and launched in July 2025. Every round places all 20 players as human Survivors - but when a Survivor is killed by a zombie, they switch sides and join the growing Horde. This conversion mechanic means the zombie team grows larger and more dangerous as the survivor count shrinks, building toward dramatic late-round standoffs. With over 7.4 million visits, 135,900 favorites, and a 92.9% upvote rating, it has exceptional community approval for an Alpha-stage game.
Survivors and Zombies operate with completely different goals and toolkits, creating a tense asymmetric experience in every round:
- ⚔️ Survivors scavenge scattered weapons, build defenses using the build hotbar, and coordinate to outlast the round timer
- ⚔️ Zombies hunt with special abilities and superhuman movement, spreading the infection before time expires
- 💎 Earn Lucky Survivor Spins and Lucky Zombie Spins - separate faction-specific cosmetic gacha pools for each side
- ⏳ Experience seasonal events tied to holidays and community milestones for exclusive cosmetics
The cosmetic system rewards both factions equally through independent pools - Survivor Spins and Zombie Spins are separate, encouraging players to experience both sides rather than maining one faction. Strict anti-exploit enforcement is in place: permanent bans with no appeal for cheating or glitch abuse, making the environment noticeably cleaner than most Early Alpha titles.
Plague occupies the same infection-game niche as other asymmetric survival titles on Roblox but differentiates itself with real-time faction-size imbalance and a strict zero-tolerance exploit policy rare for an Alpha-stage game.
