Restaurant Tycoon 3

Restaurant Tycoon 3 is a restaurant management and building simulator on Roblox by solo developer Ultraw, creator of Restaurant Tycoon 2. It entered paid beta in May 2025, went free-to-play on August 20, 2025, and has already accumulated 244.4M+ visits with 12,000-20,000 concurrent players.

RT3 is a ground-up rebuild of the formula with multi-floor construction up to 3 floors, diagonal wall placement, terrain sculpting for outdoor gardens and water features, 50+ cuisine types, and 16 staff categories. The active management loop is central - players seat customers, take orders, cook dishes through interactive mini-tasks, serve food, and collect payment:

Cash is earned from customer bills and spent on construction, food, staff salaries, and upgrades. Diamonds are the premium currency - earned from daily reward boxes that spawn outside the restaurant every 24 hours and from seasonal events - and spent on exclusive furniture sets, cosmetics, and special upgrades.

Ultraw pushes approximately weekly updates, with seasonal events providing consistent new content windows. RT3 is the current flagship of the series - Restaurant Tycoon 2 receives only maintenance updates at this point.
