War Tycoon

War Tycoon is a hybrid tycoon-FPS game on Roblox that blends idle base-building income with large-scale multiplayer military warfare. Developed by KizmoTek Studio and originally launched as Oil Warfare Tycoon in 2020 before its official release on April 22, 2021, the game has crossed 1 billion total visits with 10,000-15,000 concurrent players, making it one of the most-played military games on the platform.

Players claim a personal tycoon plot and build oil extractors that generate passive Cash income. That Cash funds an expanding military arsenal spanning infantry weapons, armored ground vehicles, aircraft, naval vessels, and hovercrafts. The core loop alternates between idle base management - upgrading extractors, researching new technology, building defenses - and active combat across the shared open-world map where up to 18 players attack each other's bases and fight for territory. Players can form Treaties with allies and set their base to hostile or neutral:

Two currencies drive the economy: Cash (from extractors, combat, and daily rewards) for weapons and vehicles, and Medals (from the Spin Wheel, daily challenges, and the Trading Hub) for factory storage upgrades, weapon attachments, and gun camo crates. The Rebirth system lets players reset tycoon progress in exchange for permanent income multipliers and access to locked content - C4 requires Rebirth 4, and the USS Independence unlocks at Rebirth 3.

The Sigma Update (March 2026) expanded the roster with the MQ-9 Reaper UAV, B1-B Lancer bomber, and Sigma-Class Corvette, pushing the game further into multi-domain warfare. War Tycoon updates near-weekly, and codes typically reward Cash (25,000-200,000 dollars), Medals, timed 2x Cash Boosts, and gun skins. Comparable to Military Tycoon in concept, War Tycoon distinguishes itself with a wider vehicle roster and a deeper rebirth progression system.
