Bakon

Bakon is an asymmetric horror survival game on Roblox developed by Pink Beard Games, launched in January 2020 during the peak of Roblox horror game interest. Up to 8 players split between survivors and the player-controlled monster Bakon - a creature who hunts them across detailed maps. With 871 million visits and 1.45 million favorites, it stands as one of Roblox's most-visited horror titles and a defining game of the 2020 horror boom. An early collaboration with YouTuber Flamingo was instrumental in the game's rapid rise.

The survivor objective is to complete map-specific escape tasks - finding keys, solving puzzles, reaching exits - while avoiding Bakon. One hit means elimination. Beyond the core multiplayer mode, Bakon features a full narrative campaign following protagonist Noobius as he investigates a classmate's disappearance through 12 chapters spanning Bakon's estate, a library, Dr. Swine's underground lab, a military base, a hospital, a factory, and an office building:

Lore characters include Bakon himself (a former student turned monster created by Dr. Swine), Noobius (the player protagonist), and Thanon (associated with the Meteor Event). The Crimson Headless Bundle introduced tradeable items starting with version 1.5. Bakon 2 was announced with a pre-order pass containing knife skins that transfer to the sequel.

Bakon competes in the same horror survival space as Piggy and Survive the Killer, sharing genre audience with both.
