Build A Beehive

Build A Beehive is a simulation tycoon on Roblox by fantastic_games, launched in May 2025 where players grow flowers, attract bees, produce honey, and sell it for profit. In under a year it accumulated 155 million visits with 2K-6K concurrent players and a 92% approval rating - exceptional growth driven in part by satisfying idle-loop TikTok content. The game runs a seasonal event calendar covering Summer, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring since launch.

The central mechanic that separates Build A Beehive from standard tycoons is indirect bee control. You cannot buy bees directly - you cultivate specific flower types to attract specific bee species to your hive, turning production into a gardening strategy puzzle. The loop runs through five connected steps:

• 🌸 Flower Planting - buy flowers from the Shop, plant them in your garden plot; each flower type attracts different bee species with rarer flowers attracting rarer bees
• 🐝 Bee Attraction - rare bees including Dragonfly, Ladybug, Butterfly, and Hummingbird varieties require increasingly exotic flowers to attract
• 🍯 Honey Production - bees housed in the hive produce honey passively based on their species and rarity; rarer bees generate significantly more honey per unit time
• 💰 Honey Sales - honey accumulates until sold for Cash, which funds better flowers and garden expansion
• 💎 Queen Bee and Mythic Bee - the Queen Bee was added in the Big Tree update as a high-value hive occupant; the Mythic Bee, the highest rarity tier, is promised as a group milestone reward at 100K likes

Seasonal events introduce Limited Flowers that attract event-exclusive bee species unavailable in base gameplay. The Spring 2026 event used Task Flowers as an event currency exchangeable for Limited Flowers. Flower Mutations - variant blooms with special properties - expand the flower catalog beyond the standard shop. Server size is capped at 6 players, keeping the experience intentionally intimate and low-pressure.

Build A Beehive occupies similar cozy territory to Bee Swarm Simulator but offers a simpler, more accessible production loop centered on garden management rather than combat.
