Build a Zoo

Build a Zoo is a pet collection tycoon on Roblox developed by Century Farmers, launched July 2025. The game has surpassed 457 million visits and 2.74 million favorites with 6,000-12,000 concurrent players, making it one of the top-performing games released in 2025. The 5-player server cap creates an intimate zoo-building environment where every hatched pet matters.

Eggs appear on a conveyor belt that players upgrade over time. Stand near an egg to hatch it, place the animal in your zoo, and collect the passive Gold income it generates. Upgrading the belt is the primary early-to-mid game investment - its eight tiers from Common to Prismatic determine what rarity of eggs appear:

Pets can carry two simultaneous mutations - one base mutation earned through feeding or hatching, and one weather mutation from the current server cycle. A Jurassic base mutation (requiring 20 million Hunger Points fed to a pet, or a lucky Meteor Heaven spin) stacked with a weather mutation on a Prismatic-rarity pet is the endgame income ceiling that keeps veteran players invested across seasons.

Century Farmers updates at a near-weekly cadence - Update 62 arrived within 9 months of launch - and the Season 8 additions include Cream Weather mutations, a fishing rod on the turntable, and the Return of Friends daily login event.
