Island Tycoon is a hybrid tycoon and combat game on Roblox developed by MMO Project where players expand a small starting island into a sprawling civilization - adding runways, space portals, docks, factories, and tourist attractions - while also leveling up stats and fighting powerful bosses. Created in September 2023, it reached 400.6K+ visits and 2.5K+ favorites before going inactive in mid-2024. The 6-player server cap makes it an intimate tycoon experience.

The gameplay blends two distinct loops: a building expansion phase and a combat RPG phase. Players earn Cash from their island's infrastructure, use it to unlock more territory and upgrades, then take on bosses using collected weapons for rewards that accelerate further growth:
