Medieval War Tycoon

Medieval War Tycoon is a veteran Roblox tycoon-strategy hybrid developed by ZedCo and live since June 2017. Four players each command their own medieval faction - building a base for passive Cash income, training armies, stealing enemy flags to loot rival reserves, and fighting to control the hilltop income point. The blend of passive tycoon economy with active real-time army command gives it more tactical depth than standard push-button tycoons. With 82 million visits, 1.74 million favorites, and a 91.5% approval rating across nearly nine years, it is one of Roblox's most enduring tycoon titles.

The core loop balances two competing priorities in every session: expanding your income base and deploying military force. Cash flows from income structures and funds both base expansion and troop training simultaneously - there is never a moment where one is clearly correct over the other:

• 🏠 Build and upgrade income structures to raise passive Cash-per-second throughout the match
• ⚔️ Train troops and set their formation to Offensive or Defensive from the Command menu
• ⚔️ Steal enemy faction flags and return them to your base to loot their Cash reserves outright
• ⚔️ Contest the neutral Hilltop Flag for a +20% income multiplier that compounds throughout the session
• 💰 Prestige by accumulating XP through combat to unlock stronger unit types and higher multipliers permanently

Flag capture is the biggest single economic swing in any session - a successful raid loots an opponent's Cash reserves outright while devastating their ability to recover. The Hilltop Flag makes a persistent +20% income bonus available to whoever can hold it, creating a constant mid-game conflict point alongside base defense.

Prestige is the long-term meta-game: combat XP triggers resets that unlock unit types unavailable at lower Prestige levels, including the Berzerker Giant at Prestige 2 and access to Roman Legion and other specialized troops through gamepasses. Joining the ZedCo Roblox group gives a free Praetorian soldier - a strong early unit - as an immediate bonus. An upcoming Castle Update is the next announced major content addition.
