My Planet Tycoon

My Planet Tycoon is a sci-fi terraforming and combat tycoon on Roblox developed by Smash Games, inspired by the PC game Planet Crafter. Players land on a barren alien world and transform it into a tropical paradise through mining, automation, combat, and environmental engineering. Launched in October 2025, it reached over 8 million visits and 52K favorites with an 89.7% approval rating within its first few months.

The moment-to-moment loop starts with mining rare ore deposits using a laser gun, selling ore at the conveyor for Coins, then buying mining robots to automate the harvest so attention can shift elsewhere:

Terraforming is the long-term progression spine: four sequential purchases transform the planet from desert to paradise - Atmosphere Generators turn the sky blue, Water Generators fill lakes, Grass Generators cover the ground, and Tree Generators complete the biome. Each step is visually immediate and permanent. With a five-player server cap, the experience is almost entirely solo or played alongside a friend.
