Steal a Ride is a car-theft tycoon on Roblox developed by Swipe Games, launched in May 2025 and reaching 66 million+ visits in under a year. Players build passive income by buying vehicles, parking them on their Plot to generate Cash, and stealing cars from rival players to expand their fleet - all while defending against others doing the same. The game blends idle tycoon mechanics with active PvP chaos in 8-player servers.

The core loop runs on accumulation and aggression. Each car parked on your plot generates Cash automatically, and the more vehicles you control - whether purchased or stolen - the faster your income grows. Stealing is as simple as walking up to another player's parked car and interacting with it, instantly adding it to your fleet. To protect your own vehicles, you have access to Gear items and the Slap mechanic, which lets you knock opponents away from your cars or off their plot entirely.

Rebirth is the prestige system: once you accumulate enough Cash, you can rebirth to multiply your passive income rate and start the loop again with a boosted multiplier. Grinding toward rebirths is the main long-term progression goal, with each reset making future Cash accumulation exponentially faster.

Offline earnings mean your Fleet keeps generating Cash while you're away, so returning players always have a stockpile ready to reinvest. The developer announces milestone events directly in the game description, making Cash bonuses available when the game hits new like count thresholds.
