CRAFTING! Tix Factory Tycoon

Tix Factory Tycoon is one of Roblox's oldest still-active tycoon games, created in April 2016 and still receiving updates a decade later as of March 2026. Developed by Fros Studio, it has accumulated 16 million visits and 253K favorites with an exceptional 89% approval rating. Players build and expand a factory that produces Tix - a currency named after the defunct Roblox Tickets, the platform's original secondary currency.

The game goes far beyond a basic tycoon. Its multi-currency economy spans six distinct currency types tied to different progression stages:

• Tix - primary currency generated by factory droppers on floor 1
• GoldTix - produced on floor 2 using Gold mined from the mineshaft
• Packet Tix - earned by delivering packets from the factory to the Warehouse via vehicle or backpack
• Cash Tix - unlocked at higher rebirths via the Warehouse Factory
• Tixium Tix - rare high-value currency from the Warehouse Factory (Rebirth 6+)
• Diamond Tix - generated by diamond drills in the factory basement (Rebirth 7+)

The Gold Mineshaft is a major exploration area divided into tiered sections. Standard shafts yield 1-2 Gold per bar, the Group Mine (Fros Studio group members only) yields 4 Gold per bar, and the VIP Mine yields 15 Gold per bar. Gold feeds the GoldTix production chain on the second factory floor.

The Rebirth system drives long-term progression through 7+ tiers. Rebirth 1 unlocks the Warehouse and Packet Tix production. Rebirth 3 expands the factory to 8 floors. Rebirth 4 pushes it to 15 floors. Rebirth 6 introduces the Warehouse Factory with Tixium Tix and Cash Tix (considered the hardest rebirth). Rebirth 7 adds Diamond Drills and Diamond Tix. A separate Reborn system triggers at 10 million Tix, resetting core currencies for bonus multipliers and buildings. The game also includes crafting, a research tree for packet types, and the Tix Monster's nest as an exploration zone.

Joining the Fros Studio group unlocks the Group Mine and in-game rewards.
