Steal a Freddy

Steal a Freddy is a Five Nights at Freddy's themed tycoon-simulator hybrid on Roblox where players collect Animatronic characters from the FNAF franchise, place them in their base to generate passive money, and raid other players' bases to steal their animatronics. Developed by Mousetrap Studios and released in June 2025, it has reached over 41 million visits by combining the "Steal a..." tycoon genre with one of Roblox's most popular horror franchises.

The core loop revolves around buying animatronics from the shop and placing them in your base where they generate money passively. Each FNAF character earns a different amount per second based on its rarity, with higher-tier animatronics being both more valuable to own and more tempting targets for theft. The competitive element comes from raiding - players physically enter opponents' bases and carry animatronics back to their own area. Defenders use Slaps and combat gear to knock thieves away and protect their collection.

Rebirth resets your base in exchange for permanent multipliers that make everything faster - earning, movement, and steal capability. Wheel Spins provide random bonus rewards including currencies, animatronics, and other prizes. With only 8 players per server, the competition stays tight and personal - every player in the server is a potential rival.
